I just noticed on the O'Reilly Network's site, onlamp.com, that RootPrompt has < a blurb about DamnSmallLinux > today.

it's shame that more was not made of the original and hopefully ongoing philosophy of DSL - that of keeping things very lean and mean.  This is especially attractive now that people can supplement the base with a large mainsteam programme GIMP, OpenOffice etc. via the .dsl repositories as it suits them.  As much or as little as you like.  Also it would be see to in a review the fact that many programme versions are made to order following requests from users?  Amazing.  The review made DSL sound a bit limiting but in fact the opposite is true.  Thanks to all you .dsl craftsmen.
