I've got an old Acer P133 laptop w 64mb mem on which I've tried, over the years, a half dozen Linux distros. They'd croak on the laptop video. Or old 16-bit PCMCIA. Or Sound card.

I plopped in the DSL 0.82 disk, and it detected everything flawlessly, with no help on my part. And fluxbox is fast!

I ran dsl-hdinstall, and it's on there for good now.

This is a CD I'd give to someone trying Linux out for the first time.

I ordered a "real" CD from your site. Good job!

This is I hope the right place to post this.
I am fairly new to Linux as a whole.  I took this distribution and loaded it on a 486 laptop with 20 mb of ram and it ran smoothly.  I had tried other distros that said they were compatible with small ram amounts but they didn't have the GUI working.
Thanks for the really cool alternative to throwing old hardware away.
also if you would use a secure website I am certain a few people i know would patronize your store.
