The "toram" thing is too much fun.  It is blazing fast on my main "gaming rig" but also runs like a dream on a 550mhz AMD K6 with 128mb of ram.  This machine resides at my coffee shop and I cannot wait to surgically remove its 98 r2 harddrive and let this puppy run "harddrive free".  I am presently pecking on a hd install of DSL writing down what I am removing and adding so I can attempt a remaster.  The finished product's goal is only firebird, AIM, and Yahoo Messenger and XMMS on the distro.  God DSL in ram is fast!

I am running it right now on a 450 mHz with 384 MB of ram and about a x2 CD ROM so.. it took awhile to boot but now that its in ram its just as fast as my 1.6 gHz and I have as many windows open as possible :D this is really great! :D

Ive finished it took me 3hrs on dialup with DAP. Ive noticed that installing to HD with toram enabled at boot will cause errors when mkliloboot is issued. This is so since cdrom is already unmounted after it has copied to ram all the data. Now my point is mkliloboot (the last command to install dsl) searches /cdrom/KNOPPIX/boot.img (which is unavailable since it was already unmounted), will it affect my system?
I know that boot.img is used for bootdisk, then why is mkliloboot accessing that file.

And I see that lilo is now 22.5.6.1.
