Hello all,
Skype is telephone over Internet. I just installed it in
DSL as well. You will find the download under skype.com
Take the version ending in tar.gz and unpack in the usual
way. If started it complains missing a few libs. These are
libqt-mt.so.3
libaudio.so.2
libXrandr.so.2 and
libXcursor.so.1
Now take a full Knoppix 3.4 or 3.7, run it, find the 4
required libraries, dump them to some temp on the HD outside
DSL, restart DSL (on HD of course!) and put them in /lib
Now your are all in business with Skype, phoning for a negligible amount over the world. Try it!
