Inserting extensions into the ISO?Forum: User Feedback Topic: Inserting extensions into the ISO? started by: phil Posted by phil on Nov. 05 2004,16:25
OK, for us relatively new users coming from the World of Windows, does somebody have a step-by-step process on how I can insert an extension (specifically Firefox) into the 0.8.3 iso and end up with another bootable iso? I'd like to be able to do it without trashing an existing machine if possible. Thanks in advance. Posted by AwPhuch on Nov. 05 2004,16:36
1. Download the "unregistered" version of < WinISO >
2. Open the dsl-0.8.3.iso and just click add file to the \ directory you should see this
Then hit save and burn to CD Hope that helps P.S. for ISO over 100Meg you will need to purchase the software Brian AwPhuch Posted by SaidinUnleashed(NLI) on Nov. 05 2004,16:38
I think < WinRAR > can handle ISOs over 100mb, if you need it.-J.P. Posted by AwPhuch on Nov. 05 2004,17:34
I dont think it will do .iso man, it will extract iso, but it cant remaster (add/remove files) then make them back into a .iso Brian AwPhuch Posted by SaidinUnleashed on Nov. 05 2004,20:34

The "Ultraiso" package used to have a trial size limit of 300MB's.If you need a little more ;-) .. It works very similar to WinIso.. 73 ke4nt Posted by raffe on Nov. 09 2004,08:49
