DSL just gets better and better. You have done a great job on this one John and crew. Thanks for all the hard work.

so far i am happy with 0.8.0 to.

it has knoppix_dir= in the boot options, so i can have more versions of my frugal installs.

using j2re1.4.2.uci and firefox.uci i was able to view the sites important me.
Then i tried a Flash page.
I had and to download the plugin.
but to my surprise i found it was easy to solve.
i downloaded the pulgin from macromedia extracted the tar.gz and copied the libflashplayer.so and flashplayer.xpi to /opt/.firefox_plugins.
it worked!

Very clever you made a link to the ramdrive.

sorry i dit not look at the /opt directory.
i was so in a hurry to try things.
now i found there is a grab_flash that does the same.

what is the kernel's current version on dsl 0.8?

Is there a link in the fluxbox menu to get flash? I'd put it right alongside the "Got Bandwidth?" link to get Firefox.

Just got 0.8 this morning have to say already the HD install script is working great again; I had some issues with 7.2's install. And love the updated myDSL GUI very nice program, cannot wait till I have free time this weekend to play around with this newest version.

Great job John and crew, much appreciate the time and effort you put into this great project...
