Does DSL runs cooler than other distributions?

In theory it should - but is it measurable?

Why? Well I want to build myself a passively cooled mini server for my home office and don't want to use a fan unless i have to.

any offers of CPU temps, suggestions or ideas welcome

I am thinking about the same for a few weeks. John, you could make money on selling silent mini servers!
