Absolutely...however if you could kick the ram up to 32Megs or higher it would be a ton more fasterI have an old Compaq LTE 5300 with docking station 133Mhz, 32Megs ram, and 2.1 gig HD and everything works perfectly! Brian AwPhuch Posted by littlepenguin on Nov. 30 2004,04:01

Well, the GUI shown on the 486 page is the standard one with the standard theme, though wasn't exactly the best representation of it, and was over a year old.DSL runs FluxBox as it's GUI, it's very lightweight and changing the style/theme can give it quite a different look - see the screenshots thread: < Screenshot Thread > or < http://fluxbox.sourceforge.net/zoom.php?shots/ikaro_fluxbox3.jpg > Though you might be limited with colour depth on that machine? well with a 16-bit videocard... might have some color problem... But it runs nesticle very fine so I dont see that much problems, just have to add some memory! In fact, i'll run it from a cd under windows on my new pc... I heard I can try it before burn it. Is it possible? (while keeping windows)
