The pppdial config process doesn't work anymore in v 0.9 for me on this old old laptop (poorman's install then HD installed). The little grey gui called up by the fluxbox menu network\pppdial route works in that it starts up the original config menu prompts but instead of continuing after 'PAP' or the 'Tone dialler' selection menus it 'OK's back to the little grey gui and so on in a circle. Tried reboots, reinstalls etc. but no luck it won't let me finish configuring pppdial. Have gone back to v.84 where there is no problem at all.
On the plus side, integrated Firefox (after HD installing) takes only 16 seconds to open up on this old crate. Not bad.

I went from ver.0.8.4 to 0.9.0.1 and pppconfig works as it did in 8.4. I did not try 0.9.0 as there were some wrinkles that were ironed out by the time I was able to download.I'm using .0.9.0.1 and firefox at the moment and will install to a usb here shortly to try out the new/updated .dsl options.So far so good. I burned the 0.9.0.1 iso to a mini-CDRW and booted from that.

0.9.0.1 fixes several bugs found in 0.9.0

then i must have downloaded .9.0 because its true the pppdial exits during configuration... a way i fixed this was since i had an hd install of feather i copied all the files that already had the proper information into the places where DSL needed them /etc/chatscrips /opt/ppp and such... my only question is, are the other bugs going to make it worth just downloading .9.0.1

later nice distro, including firefox by default is awesome
