I know less about DSL Linux than i know about basic. but this is cool
How can i put this on the computer to co-exist with windows and how do i set up my Pop3 e-mail?

Use Sylpheed just like you would Outlook Express.

The first time you fire it up, it will prompt you to set up an account. Just use the guidelines that your email service provides for you to set the proper servers and ports.

Don 't know how you wan't to use DSL - either live CD where you can save all your config settings including those for e-mail / ISP, etc. ready for the next time you live CD boot, or HD installed. See the fluxbox menu and search for saving live CD settings on this forum. It is easy to have a hard disk installed DSL and Windows at the same time but you need to first partition the hard disk first leaving your windows stuff in the original partition which linux calls hda1 and two further linux format partitions one for DSL (hda2) and another for swap (hda3) set up. The swap partition is purely a way of enhancing memory / speed performance - worth it. After live CD boot, clicking 'Install to hard disk' from the fluxbox menu\Apps\tools\ will ask to where to install DSL (hda2 probably) After this you can choose 'mkliloboot' to install a boot loader. After this, when you cold boot your machine from scratch, you will get an orange menu asking you to choose between windows and linux - choose whaterver you want but it will default linux anyway after 10 seconds or so. Neither OS interferes with the other in this way. You can access the windows files hda1 from linux also and copy over if necessary.

you can also use something like a usb flashdrive and the backup/restore button in the control panel to save your settings, etc for the next time you boot.

Or you can just boot from the usb flashdrive, which is entirely....too cool!
