I download iso file and with program Nero burning make CD. In CD I have 3 directoris:boot, knopix, lost and found-and one file-index.html.
When I reboot PC , linux can't boot from this CD. what is wrong? (with Slax I not have problem)
Thank you

hmmm, it may be because your BIOS is not set to boot from cd (or maybe it's too old) but if that's not the problem, then the cd image is probably corrupt and you will have to download it again and make a new copy.

If your computer boots SLAX your BIOS should also let you boot other liveCD distros like DSL.

Maybe you should download the boot floppy image from the DSL website and use rawrite32.exe to make a boot floppy.

Then see if DSL will work from the bootfloopy + CD

Also, you could try DSL on a few other computers to see if the disk works at all or if you have a corrupted download or burn.

FYI, DSL usually works better as a CD-R disk than a CD-RW disk.

CD-RW disks will work on most modern computers but there are some CDROM drives that have difficulty reading anything but a CD-R or a real pressed CD disk.

True, but even most older drives will boot from a cdrw with an update to the latest firmware.
