I made a remaster of dsl with openmosix (from clusterknoppix). It has about 65 MB inclusive dpkg.dsl and synaptic.
Starting up i got some errors (and a picture from clusterknoppix) but it is dsl and works. It has the kernel 2.4.27-om. I tested it with 2 computers. My problems: when i start it up, openmosix does not automaticly work. I have to start the network (etc/init.d/knoppix-terminalopenmosixserver), then openmosix and openmosixcollector by console.
then i got the cluster.
Has someone an idee to get openmosix-dsl start automaticly? I have an jpg-screeshot from the working cluster, but i dont know how to send it here.

vabene04, you can add your command lines to /opt/bootlocal.sh while you are remastering.

etc/init.d/knoppix-terminalopenmosixserver
openmosix
openmosixcollector

or change /opt/bootlocal.sh and add it to filetool.lst for your backup

i cant get it by this way to work. i have still to start openmosix manualy. Maybe the reason is, that dsl starts dhcp, how coud i avoid this?
here is an other sample from my om-dsl:

At the boot prompt, type "dsl nodhcp".

Easy as that.

Oh, and if you can get this down to <50mb (probably losing dpkg and synaptic will do it) I would like to grab the iso from you!
