Well, we don't have to worry, DSL won't boot on any computer, just any x86 computer. Any computer would mean x86, ppc, amiga, sparc, etc.And DSL/Knoppix reconfigures itself with every boot, so we really don't fit in that. ^_^ Posted by coolworlddsl on Dec. 09 2004,23:26

Being an acitizen (I'm still working on the definition of that term, and if it ends up being stupid I'll have to think of some other word), I just simply refuse to accept software patents as legitimate claims. Although the laws may be in place, they conflict with my personal beliefs and morals, and are therefore nullified with respect to my little world.So as far as I'm concerned, this has nothing to do with DSL. funny...that's what I'd typed at first, but thought it was a bit too negative. I'm not really against citizenship, but more like a non-member of organized society.I remember downloading Zipslack a few years ago for a zip disk, but it was parallel rather than USB, so I couldn't get it to boot...of course I was a point-and-clicker at the time....
