I noticed that DSL 9.1 is showing up on LinuxQuestions.org

Yet I don't see this anywhere on the DSL website yet or on other Mirrors.
Was a bit confusing, not sure if LQ now has the most current releases, or if the DSL website has the most current release.

I'm NOT complaining, I was simply confused as to why. DSL with the addition of firefox has become a most excellent way of showing people the power of linux. Probably my favorite way actually.

Any idea what fixes are included in 0.9.1?

If the Gimp crash-on-open-image thing I read about is fixed, might have to burn me a new version...

there is no 9.1, 0.9.1 is the latest.

Actually, 0.9.0.1 is the latest version and the next logical number will be 0.9.1, so maybe any day now.

xmms is back?

i never tried beaver but i hear it is better than minimum profit.

would have been better to have scite than beaver, but firefox is good enough for me not to care.

Lets please be patient, while the new version has a chance to propagate to all the download providers. Lets not "hammer" the few mirrors we have. We would not want to lose them. The official announcement will be shortly forthcomming with the change log.

Just test-drove 9.1 and found I had problems with my USB stick. 9.0.1 and others automatically recognised (everything!) really well.
