I just finished installing DSL 0.9.1 and I love it so far but I'm having 1 problem, the sound isn't working! I checked to see if the volume was at 0 & tried to play a music CD as well.

Here's the audio portion of cat /proc/pci

Multimedia audio controller: Intel corp. 82801BA/BAM AC'97 Audio (rev1).

IRQ 11
I/O at 0x2000 [0x20ff].
I/O at 0x2400 [0x243f].
Bus 2, device 8, function 0:

My friend told me I have to enable ACPI?!?! or something to get it to work but I have no idea how. Any ideas??

Try installing the alsadeb.dsl extension. Don't forget to read the alsadebs.info file for more information.

It's ok i've resolved the sound issue, turns out I was using 0.9.0 & trying to play an Audio cd with ASCD which supposedly had problems. Anyway I just upgraded to 0.9.1 & my problem has been resolved thanks to tronik.
