Ok, I just started using DSL, and I think it's pretty freaking cool :) I am sort of in between systems right now (just sold my P4 PC and am saving up to get a new Mac) and was looking for a distro to run on my old Celeron 333 w/ 128mb of ram... DSL seems to fit my bill perfectly! (I'm posting form it right now).

What I would liek to know about it if I am thinking the Backup/Restore program does what I am guessing it does... that is to tke the current system state and save it? I would like to make a custom bootable iso (with the VERY cool script provided!) that will fit onto a business card sized CD-R and then use my flash drive to have my personal settings, saved emails, bookmarks, maybe some pictures and a couple audio files, and use that as my "portable computer" (actually it will be my main computer for about a month, and then become my secondary system :)...

If I run the backup program and aim it at my flash drive, will it work that way?

Thanks for the help,
Rob

Probably another stupid question, but how would I go about mounting a USB flash drive?

Yes, it will work.

See this post on mounting a USB drive:
