Installed DSL after several unsuccessful windows version installs on an old Acer Extensa Notebook. This was my first attempt at a linux install and I have to say that I am well impressed. There was an issue with screen res on boot, but selecting framebuffer vesa fixed that straight away. What impressed me most was that I have a PCMCIA LAN card in the notebook which I had loads of trouble with using Win(DOH)s but which DSL picked up immediately with no issues.

Well done guys, hats off and pants down !
