Hi:I want to download the correct version of small linux, but, i don't know what is the correct version for a laptop, with a processor pentium MX, with a hard disk of 3GB, with a ram memory of 64MB and with a modem that is connected to 45kb/s with dial up. Somebody could say to me that version is the one that I must lower for this computer. Thanks Posted by elzorrochileno on Jan. 18 2005,18:24

The current version of DSL is 0.9.2Instructions for burning the image to Cd are in the Documentation area (English only, if you want to search for stuff in your own language, google "create cd from iso image" ) -J.P. Posted by mikshaw on Jan. 18 2005,22:56
The md5.txt is for verifying that the download is complete and uncorrupted. Once verified you don't need that file. I'm not sure how it works in Windows or other OS, but in Linux you can check it with the md5sum program. Put both files in the same directory, and from that directory do "md5sum -c dsl-0.9.1.iso.md5.txt". The '-c' option means 'check'.
