It were more secure if a firewall (Iptables) were activated.

Or else lisening services (68, 6804) should be bound to localhost rather than all addresses.

There is a MyDSL app called rc.firewall that binds itself to not only the ppp but eth0 or whichever you decide...it works very well actually

With proper configuration it could even be used as a simple NAT router
