As the title says, I don't know if anyone has installed this great piece of software. It will enable you to integrate Linux with Windows, as it provides all that Microsoft Office has to offer. I am going home to give it a go and will let you know how it goes. I am a newbie so installation might not be such a cinch. Post later on upset, frustration or pure happiness...... Maybe try out the Openoffice.uci add-on in the Mydsl repository?

slightly off topic here, but current events over at openoffice aren't going well for open source, and certainly worrisome for its development.< slashdot > those issues set aside, there's still the problem of the infamous resource hogging of java. Posted by trelex on April 26 2005,18:28
Open Office works great under DSL but I wouldn't recommend trying it on a machine with less than 64MB RAM. Trust me on this, I know from experience!
