As the title says, I don't know if anyone has installed this great piece of software.

It will enable you to integrate Linux with Windows, as it provides all that Microsoft Office has to offer.

I am going home to give it a go and will let you know how it goes.  I am a newbie so installation might not be such a cinch.

Post later on upset, frustration or pure happiness......

Maybe try out the Openoffice.uci add-on in the Mydsl repository?

slightly off topic here, but current events over at openoffice aren't going well for open source, and certainly worrisome for its development.

those issues set aside, there's still the problem of the infamous resource hogging of java.

Open Office works great under DSL but I wouldn't recommend trying it on a machine with less than 64MB RAM. Trust me on this, I know from experience!
