ive tried about 6 or so linux distros... slackware, mepis, suse, slax, and my own sucky dos linux, < http://www.freewebs.com/doslinux/ > and dsl... wat i noticed out of all of them was that dsl accually had the most driver support, oddly enough as slackware, in total is 2.8 gigs(as the 4 cd version), mepis 700 megs, slax 250 megs, suse, 680 megs, and yet dsl is only dsl 50 megs, and well my dos linux currently fits on a floppy. out off all of those only dsl had sound and ethernet driver support for my sony desktop, well mabey besides dos linux which uses the system speaker for audio. and only dsl had any server applications. Ive tried dsl on about 10 different computers... it had every driver for each component, including my 9 year old laptop with a pcmia ethernet card, besides sound for that same laptop which has really just a system speaker for audio, and open gl. also compare that to the number of releases of dsl... slax is at 2.6, suse 9.1, and slackware 10.1, where as dsl is at 1.01...

anyways, excelent job on dsl, in anyway possible id like to help with dsl ie .dsl extensions and helping on forums ect, i really belive that dsl will go very far
