DSL have progress alot, now Linux is nearer to the goal of becoming a mainstream OS.

For LiveCD DSL can we have multisession like in Puppy Linux that write back to the CD.In Puppy its cater for CDR and allow up to 99 write. For DSL can it be ammended for CDRW an allow for indefinate write.

For installation to USB drive, can we have a script like in Puppy that automate the process with a script. I still fail to boot from USB drive for Puppy Linux, I guess the script wil have to start from the very begining step for all USB drive , delete the partition, recreate it, format the USB drive, etc, etc.

Hopefully this will make DSL friendly to alot of people that's not familiar with Linux.

So you want an install script like Puppy linux - but you still fail to boot from USB with Puppy?

Ummm, there is a script to install to USB ??? If you're still having problems, then search in the USB booting forum.   Most likely your motherboard or like you said, the geometry / partitioning of the drive.

Other people have mentioned the multisession - linux can't boot from an open cd-rw - anyway, search and you should find the explanation on this one as well.

Cya :)
