i already have my x-box soft-modded, so i am curious as to whether or not i can switch back and forth from my evo-x to x-dsl to play games and access my x-box utilities with evo-x and browse and stuff like that with x-dsl

You can start up X-DSL from another dashboard just like any other Xbox program.I started it from the "Programs" section of XBMC. Just remember to choose "Reboot" when you wish to exit X-DSL. If you choose "Shutdown", you will need to walk over to your xbox and turn it back on in order to get back into evox |
