I found two web sites for dsl news, one stating dillo "http://www.damnsmalllinux.org" and one starting frefox "http://www.dslos.com/start/"  but I cannot guess where to read a manual for using dsl. Is there a file to dowlaoad locally for dsl manual in html or pdf?

Under the logo on the damnsmalllinux.org site is the following
"Index - Applications - Packages - Download - Notes - Off Site - Milestones - Documentation - Talk - Forums"

Click the "documentation" link.

reading the documentation from the DSL  documentation link is a pain in the bum.

offline documentation can eat up a LOT of space.

we prefer to use that space for more functionality.
