Hi all!

i'm a new linux user. I had an old 300mhz laptop mobo, wich i allmost trew away. The HDD connector was broken, and when i tried to fix it, i broke the cdrom connector too  :D smart indeed. I allmost gave up, but when i heard of DSL i thought i'd give it a try. I used my thomson MP3 player as external HD on usb, and i used the usb bootfloppy. after a few tries, i found out it was booting 1024, and my laptop cant handle that, so i added vga=789.

Now its working fine!!

thanx to all posts on the forum! they really helped me out there.

So thank you guys
