I'd suggest you add NLUUG's ibiblio mirror directly to your list of DSL mirrors - it's a great place to get DSL from:< ftp://ftp.nluug.nl/pub/ibiblio/distributions/damnsmall/current/ > (for older releases, you can skip the ./current directory) Posted by DeeJay on Sep. 08 2005,11:05
Do you know anyone at NLUUG who could explain why this *isn't* a simple mirror of the master ibiblio distribution? The directory hierarchy seems to be quite different - is that deliberate, or has there been a slip-up in defining the synchronization process? Perhaps adding it to the mirrors list should wait until that has been resolved, to avoid confusion and frustration?

Warning !!This is a very DATED location for DSL extension files. While it does look like there are recent files available for the isos and embedded versions of DSL to be found here... The extensions are WAY dated, back to Oct. 2004. Very old versions, the older .ci format, and perhaps several using the old username *damnsmall*. I suggest using any of the true published mirrors for your .dslrc file, and your downloading needs. Many changes have been made to DSL and it's extension handling processes, since that time. YMMV 73 ke4nt |
