hi,

im new to this whole linux thing and am trying to install dsl on a pent 133 32ram 2gb hdd which runs well in win 95.
wen i try to boot off the live cd (BIOS set up correctly) st the very begining of the boot it says:
isolinux loading spec packet failed trying to wing it...
isolinux: Extremely broken BIOS detected last ditch attempt with drive = ff
isolinux: disk error 01,AX=4298 drive ff

if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

Sounds like you either got a bad download or burn.

Check your md5sums and/or redownload and burn.

Read this for technical info.
