Okay, let me ask a few questions-What kind of hardware are you booting on? How do you connect to the net? What does the error message tell you? Posted by soadnation on Oct. 17 2005,11:23

HHmmm...Seems to indicate your downloads are getting corrupted, with all the trouble you had getting the iso burned too. Have you had these problems in the past? ![]() Posted by LebenOjanen on Oct. 19 2005,06:18
I'm using the current RC and having the same problem. I'm running it from a USB pendrive inside of Windows and when I use the download feature the files are downloaded and stored in /tmp but afterwards it gives me a Checksum Error message. I'll try restarting it and edit this post accordingly. *EDIT* Nada, same error. Any ideas? Posted by loell on Oct. 19 2005,06:31
i have also expirience checksum error in mydsl lately, im using dsl 2.0rc1it seems like when you download a .dsl, it is downloaded as text/plain. so what i did is, i downloaded opera.dsl from other computer with win98 and install it in manually via emelfm. so that i can download .dsl as it is. |
