Hello,I recently read about DSL and want to try it out. Since my older cpu cannot boot from a cd-rom, I need to boot from a floppy. I downloaded the floppy image from the website. But how can I get it on the disk? Trying to copy it does not work. Can anybody help, please? Thanks jokoel Posted by skaos on Nov. 17 2005,11:03
In Windows you need "rawrite" to create a diskette. You can e.g. get it from here: < http://mirror.pudas.net/slackware/slackware-10.2/bootdisks/ >In linux: dd if=filename.img of=/dev/fd0 Posted by AwPhuch on Nov. 17 2005,23:25
If you have a M$ machine you can use < RawWriteWin >Brian AwPhuch |
