Frugal DSL 1.5, persistent  home  and   opt
Somehow I now have only 3 workspaces (what are they good for, anyhow?)
When I boot from the CD, it has the usual 4.

Is there documentation somewhere on all this stuff?
Including that thing in the lower right of the screen, "slit"?

How would I get a plain light blue background, rather than one of the 3 wallpaper images?

Thanks,
Sheldon

Look in /home/dsl/.fluxbox/init, these lines:
Code Sample
session.screen0.workspaces:     4
session.screen0.workspaceNames: Workspace 1,Workspace 2,Workspace 3,Workspace 4,

Reconfigure fluxbox after making the change.

The xsri command, when used without any parameters, will give you a plain blue background.  If this isn't the shade of blue you are looking for, try "xsri --color somebluecolor".  Color names are listed in rgb.txt, which i think is in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11.
Just don't do --color green, or you will instantly go blind.
