I'm a relatively inexperienced Linux user who just did a HD install of DSL on my desktop.  I'd like to change the refresh rate to 75 or 85 hz, and although I've done this before it was many years ago and my memory is failing me.  Here are my two specific questions:

Where is the configuration file that I should edit if I wanted to manually change this stuff (I think it's called xf86config ?)?

What is up with these *.dsl files?  How would I install the XFree86.dsl package?  I see this in the XFree86.dsl.info file, but I  don't know what it means.

                    1. CHANGE /home/dsl/.xserverrc to:
                     exec /usr/X11R6/bin/XFree86  -nolisten tcp
                     ****(copy included in /home/dsl/XFree86_config_files)****

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out.

I've obviously got my head up my "a".  I've figured this out, sorry to waste your time.
