Hi there,

I'm testing dsl and dsl-n for some days, and I'm confused about the bad performance by scrolling websites with firefox and dillo.
It runs on an IBM A22p with 1600*1200 screen resoultion, 512MB Ram, 933MHz PIII, ATI graphic (16MB).

I'm not shure if the X is the problem, here some descriptions: everything goes right (booting, login), and its nice and fast. But when I'm scrolling websites, the scrolling is extremely slow (~1cm per second). When I'm clicking pgdown or pgup, the performance is better, but with some delay.

Can somebody help me???

Greetings

When booting dsl use the cheat code " dsl xsetup " to set up your screen and mouse. From a running system do ctrl+alt+backspace than type xsetup.sh to setup x. the slow scrolling is because the default mode uses frame buffering you want xvesa.
