HI!

i was just wondering if it is possible to make a screenshot with dsl?
the usual import -w root filename.png doesn't work...

From Xpaint: File>Take Snapshot

The cursor will change, then drag the cursor around whatever you want to take a shot of (in this case, draw a big box around the screen) and voila.

In order for the import command to work, you'd have to install the imagemagick program (apt-get install imagemagick)

you could also apt-get install ksnapshot and use that

KDE = okay, just not for DSL.  When I use RedHat Fedora, I use KDE.

I tried the desktop snapshot thing from the right-click menu, but it never works. =\
