I love DSL, now that I have it on pendrive. I can save all of my settings very easily EXCEPT that I can't seem to save my wallpaper setting (wallpaper is there, but not loaded.) I've tried bsetbg, but if I try the -full option, it won't go full screen. How else can I save my bg setting?

Did you try the wallpaper tool?  It should be saved in your next backup/restore.

Or you could try using xsri.

... XP being a linux n00b is hard.

It works. thanks for the help

EDIT: OK, maybe it doesn't work. I judged on the fact that it worked in ATerminal. Now, what's this wallpaper tool ur talking about?

It's available from the desktop menu.

The OK button will set the background temporarily and INSTALL will set it permanently, as long as .fluxbox/init and your image file are restored

Haha.  I cheated a little bit.

I didn't know how to set my background permanently so I basically copied the style I was using and changed the background that it used to the one that I wanted to use.  While it works, this sounds like a much better idea.

Thanks.

Boy, am I glad you said that. I updated my DSL version to 3.2 and whenever I tried to use the wallpaper tool, it would just come up with an empty background. Thank you!
