okay, I have no idea, it should work....Long shot, but could a irq conflict be possible? Posted by uncledave1969 on July 21 2007,07:05
its possible!....I heared that one time before...they said to disable plug n play and then it should work....but...my bios does not have plug n play.

Well, what does your bios have?if the irq's are listed there, check that the mouse does not have same as some else device. Even if it doesn't share one with any device, could try changing it's irq to another free number and see if that helps Posted by uncledave1969 on July 21 2007,07:16
it does not have an IRQ it just saysPS/2 Mouse..........Installed Posted by jpeters on July 21 2007,15:06
As an option: I use a logitech wireless usb mouse on my laptops; works great.

It could be conflicting with an embedded mouse pointer, i.e. on your laptop. You could try disabling that. (or even try a full xserver, which might have better handling) Posted by uncledave1969 on July 22 2007,04:17
I am on a destop not a laptop............And still i have not been able to get the mouse to work..... |
