Iīm using a Libretto 100 under DSL 3.3 RC3.
All went fine until yesterday when I installed bluez-utils.dsl from the testing area.
After rebooting all icons and the wallpaper picture are gone.
There is the greyish background you can see before the wallpaper appears.
The dock apps (mount tool, battery etc.) are still there.
DSL menu is working fine.

"xtdesk" gives the following error:
xtdesk: error while loading shared libraries: libtiff.so.4:cannot open shared object file:No such file or directory

How can I get back my wallpapers and icons?

Is this a traditional hard drive install?
Did you run out of memory?
How many other .dsl did you install?

Yes.

No. Itīs no problem to run several programs at  the same time.

A lot  :;):
Donīt think that has anything to do with it.
It seems as if bluez-utils.dsl has deleted some system libraries...
At least with libtiff.so.4 something seems to be wrong.

Check to see if you still have /usr/lib/libtiff.so.3.5.7
as libtiff.so.4 is just a link to 3.5.7.

It looks like that package includes its own ld.so/ld-linux.so which I think was a mistake...?

Anyways, an interim fix can be done with `sudo ldconfig`

I submitted a new bluetooth extension - bluez-utils.uci - it is much smaller than bluez-utils.dsl and should do almost everything that the dsl extension can do.
