hey guys,
has anyone other than the people in the other thread got x.org or xfree86 in dsl, i really want to do some things but having the custom xserv wont let me. so has anyone else ever got it done?

Unless you want to do a harddrive installation with DSL you can't get full X. In order to get this without ALOT of trouble and HD-installation issues you should check out a distro called Featherlinux that greatly mirrors DSL and that got a finished package for X. Another good minidistro called Luit Linux also takes care of this problem since it got X.org, AND still is below the 50 mb businesscard limit. Great! Check out these distros here:

btw, i have gotten xfree86 up and working on my dsl, only change i had to make was to edit xdm and add exit 0 to the first line of it. i used synaptic to dl and install it, believe it was called window-session or something similar
