Icons and configuration settings on HD InstallForum: X and Fluxbox Topic: Icons and configuration settings on HD Install started by: texmansru47 Posted by texmansru47 on Nov. 03 2004,15:18
I'm sure this has been answered, but being new with DSL, I have to ask anyway. Is there a way to save/add new application icons to the workspace of DSL (Flukebox) as well as themes/styles on a HD installed solution? Just curious. Posted by ke4nt1 on Nov. 03 2004,15:44
Sure..{Themes} Place your theme config file into your ~/.fluxbox/styles directory. Place the associated backgrounds into your ~/.fluxbox/backgrounds directory. If using multiple users in your HDInstall, there is also a /usr/share/fluxbox directory that is global for all users. {Icons} Place both the icon graphic file {png or jpg} and the associated .lnk file into your ~/.xtdesktop directory. {Menu} Place your startup lines in your ~/.fluxbox/menu file. See inside for details and examples of format, or use cbagger'01's excellent whitebox.dsl contribution to easily setup your menu file. 73 ke4nt Posted by texmansru47 on Nov. 03 2004,16:09

Here my question in addition:I can't figure out how I make DSL start up with die fullyfeatured Desktop with all the Icons. And I'm really getting tired of pushing the Button. Posted by cataclysmic on Nov. 25 2004,08:55
okay I already figured that out Added an && enhance &>/dev/null to the root.command line in my styles "init" additional to the one that loads that bgimage. |
