From DSL 0.9.1 Live cd, how do I boot to a clean desktop and keep it ?
The pager and all the junk on the right is like Gnome,
and I HATE Gnome! :angry:

I can get rid of the icons from the menu, but the other stuff stays.
The only thing I need is mount.app, and I'd rather summon that myself.
What files do I need to edit and save to accomplish this on my next boot ?

/home/dsl/.xinitrc

Remove the 'enhance' line.

Or boot with:

dsl noicons

I believe that it also prevents the other stuff from automatically starting up.
