Can you add themes or desktop wallpaper to a DSL HD installation?

Just curious.

I have the latest version loaded and I love it!  I have a PII 266MHZ Dell Latitude laptop with 64MB RAM and a 2.1GB HD... and the DSL linux is working fantastic!  Great job, BTW.

styles go in /home/dsl/.fluxbox/styles
backgrounds go in /home/dsl/.fluxbox/backgrounds

Just about any blackbox or fluxbox style will work in DSL, and there are several packaged for installation through the MyDSL system:

Make sure your /home/damnsmall/.fluxbox/init file points to the correct style.

Do backgrounds have to be in a particular format?

not really...you just need to have support for the image type installed.  jpg, png, xpm, and gif at least should be supported
