DSL works on my brothers pc, but on mine it does not. Here is the error I get: < Error >. I have tried boot: DSL xsetup, to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

try startx , or xsetup.sh at error prompt dsl@tty[dsl]$
if no good try the F2 key at boot: option
Did you get something with hit shift or return after boot started?
If yes hit return and try 0 option, you may have limited video options.

Try booting with:

dsl xsetup

and then try some different Vesa resolution choices from the menu until you find one that works for you.

Also, you could try booting with:

fb800x600

and see what happens.

I figured it out, it was my NIC since i have an nforce2 mobo.

What's an NIC? I get the same error as you did with an NVidia card. What do I have to do to get DSL to run?
