hello , i have a 15" MAG DJ530 CRT monitor , and it has very dark display, eventhough the brightness is set on 100% in the monitor's configuration. how can i make the X server look brighter? Thanx , al. Posted by richard9965 on Aug. 14 2005,06:02
no-one else has replied to your question since june 25th.... I suspect your CRT is just worn out. Check if it works better when attached to some other source. I don't know of any gamma tricks in Linux. I use powerstrip to control gamma ramps in Windows. Richard. |
