fvwmForum: X and Fluxbox Topic: fvwm started by: dougvega Posted by dougvega on Aug. 05 2005,00:54
I have been experimenting with puppy linux and I must confess I like FVWM95 better than fluxbox , so I apt-get FVWM95 and with puppy's configuration as template I manage to configure my new window manager and I love it .only problem is that the application that shows conection , memory, and such ( I think is called the fluxter) places itself randomlly on the uper left corner and I cant get rid of it it keeps comming back, I tried the fluxterbb file and a number of files mentioned in the forums but the thing just won't go away . Does anybody Know how ?. Posted by mikshaw on Aug. 05 2005,02:57
The dockapps are started from /usr/bin/enhance, and enhance is started from /home/dsl/.xinitrc

in the usr/local/lib/x11/mini-icons file there is an icon that corresponds with that logo you can change it with a paint program ie the gimp.
