Synergy on DSL

I would like to set up the application Synergy between two of my compters.
See: < http://synergy2.sourceforge.net/ >
It is an application for, well basically a software KVM switch that works multi-OS and has a common copy function. But each compter has its own monitor. (If you dont know it, have a look -seems a great app for me)

Anyway, I want to know how I can get it to run under DSL. I dont know if I need Xfree86 or not, I also dont know if GCC alone will compile it.

I get an error when I try to compile Synergy because I need some X test files or something... (I need help)

If I was to convert to Xfree86, how would I set it up on a Pentium Pro 200Mhz (non-mmx) with an S3 trio video card and 64mb RAM?, will it work?? -what configuration package do I use?

Any response is appreciated, cheers

OK, I allready posted about synergy in the thread, but in the new testing area there is currently a XFree86-devel.dsl (search it if you cant find it). With XFree86-devel.dsl installed (allong with X-free86) synergy compiled without complications.

Hope that helps.
