What's Xvesa? I think it's somehing like Xfree86,right?

Where is the Xvesa files? While I type "startx",is it meant to start the Xvesa?

After I install the Xfree86.dsl,how can i make it works, and make Xvesa
stopping work, will they battle against each other ?

I'm a Chinese,so please explain to me in easier words.

Thank you!

/home/dsl/.xserverrc is the file that specifies which X server to run. They will not have a conflict, because the only one used is the one listed in this file. Read the info file for XFree86.dsl to learn how to switch.  XFree86 uses /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 as its configuration, and Xvesa uses only the commandline options added to .xserverrc.
