was wondering if linux will work on a windows 98  system?

i was under the pression that it would run INSIDE winsux 98..  i would like to know..

Download the embedded version < here >.  It will be slower than running it at boot or in VMware Player.

Remember that VMware Player only works with Windows 2000/XP/2003.  That means you can't use the vmx images.

I am not sure if DSL embedded (QEMU emulator) will work on Windows 98.  I know that it has given people problems when trying to run on Windows 95.

The only wat to know for sure is to try it.

Yes it can, but it cannot run the kqemu accelerator and without that, even on a powerful machine (mine=1.5ghz - 512 ram) it's useless.
