I had a old system (AMD-k62 200, 80 MB Ram) left over after i got my wife a new computer, and decided it would be good to try out linux.  Unfortunatly the last thing I can see on the screen is loading minigrt.cz........ then it reboots.  I have tried all the cheatcodes in F2 and F3, and some more that i found browing the forums with no luck.  With lowram, and failsafe i see another screen worth of text, but it blows by too quickly to see what is on it.  I did test my CD on my laptop and it worked great so I know it isnt the CD, and the older computer ran fine with windows 98 and window NT 4.0 (not saying that being able to run windows is any benchmark of sucess)  I loved it so much when I tested it on my laptop that I've dediced its one of those cant live without type deals.  Could someone either help me with my older system I plan on dedicating to it, Or guide me through devoting a very small part of my laptop to running it and being able to save files etc etc.  Ideally with this route I would be able to acess files already stored on the windows partition.

Forgot to mention, I have also tried with the sys-linux version, and an older version with no better results.
