I wish to create a CD to boot DSL with NTOP and Ethereal. I would like some guidance on where to find information on creating a DSL bootable cd with both proggrams. Also how do I make it start NTOP on boot.I wish to use DSL to build remote network monitoring systems using NTOP to continually log utilization and Ethereal to troubleshoot more indepth application issues. By using bootable CDs I can mail an upgrade out and have anyone pop it in the CD player and reboot the PC. I will use one interface to graphicaly remote to the PC, is VNC an option?, and the other to capture. I would appreciate any assistance that can be given in pointing me to the required help on how to create such a CD skypilot |
