for some reason I can not log in to my dsl account I have to log into rootcan I reset the dsl user account password?

or is there a way to add all my downloads from mudsl on my dsl account to root?

ur not far off doing to, butpasswd can only be run as 'root'
so stay logged in as root and type
passwd <username of password to change>
ie
passwd dsl
and that'll change the password of user dsl

I have the same problem but it asks for password at boot. Password:
su: Authentification failure
Sorry.
so i cant get to root to change password ...any suggestions???
this box has never been on the net and i didnt change the su password..it just did this all of a sudden.
